Staff Selection and Application Process
The selection of staff at Atlantis Beach Baptist College is of prime importance due to the particular nature of the College. Atlantis Beach Baptist College is a Christian school and part of the network of Baptist Schools and Colleges.
Staff selected for employment at the College must meet the following criteria:
- Be suitably qualified
- A member of the Teacher’s Registration Board to fill a teaching position
- Display excellence in their teaching/profession
- Have a valid National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check
- Have suitable referees, both personal and professional
- Be a church attending, practicing Christian who can both articulate their faith and Biblical principles
Employment application process
Applicants for employment at Atlantis Beach Baptist College should include the following in their applications:
- College application form, found on the College website
- Covering letter
- Curriculum Vitae
- Contact details of two professional referees
- Response to the relevant Duty Statement
- Copy of academic transcripts and qualifications (certified copy)
- Proof of current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
- A recent Department of Education and Training Criminal History Clearance
- Working with Children Check, or proof of application, on commencement of employment
- A written reference from your Pastor/Minister
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited to attend an interview. Applicants may then proceed to an interview with the Principal and the Board of Directors.
